Kappa Epsilon:
Our History
On May 13, 1921, in Iowa City, Iowa, at the invitation of Professor Zada Mary Cooper, The Kappa Epsilon Fraternity was established to unite women pharmacy students across the United States. For more than 90 years, Kappa Epsilon has played an important role in the profession of pharmacy by supporting both personal and professional development through continuing education, providing networking opportunities, promoting pharmacy as a career and by participating in National Projects including Breast Cancer Awareness and Ovarian Cancer Awareness.
Our Mission
The mission of Kappa Epsilon is to empower its members to
achieve personal and professional fulfillment by developing their confidence,
self esteem, interpersonal skills and leadership vision; and represent the
interest of the members to health-care professionals and the community at large.
